Seyre: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Drawings by the children from the time they sought refuge are still preserved on the walls of the Grange de Seyre. The Grange de Seyre is closed to the public.

History
Between 1940 and 1941, the Château de Seyre provided refuge to 92 Jewish orphans from Germany and Austria. In spring 1941, the children were transferred from the Château de Seyre to the Château de la Hille in Ariège.
Seyre and the Surrounding Area
The designated hiking route “Vers le lac de la Thésauque” starts at the Église de Seyre. The route is 12 km long, takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, and has an elevation gain of 58 metres.
The historic site Abbaye de Boulbonne is located near Seyre. The historic site Abbaye Notre-Dame de Calers is located in the wider region surrounding Seyre. The ancient site France - Muret - Bourdaya is also located in this wider regional area; the Musée Clément Ader et les Grands Hommes museum is located there as well.
Near Seyre, a 5.6 km circular trail at Lac de la Thésauque follows the Sentier d’interprétation de l’Agasse, providing information about the lake’s fauna and flora.

Festivals
The programme for the announced traditional Fête de Seyre included a cassoulet meal, brass bands and an evening of dancing. The announced programme also included a bouncy castle, duck fishing and air-rifle shooting.
