Mauvaisin: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

The Château de Mauvaisin is partially protected as a historic monument. The protection covers the façades and roofs of the main building and the two wings, the entrance gateway, the enclosing wall and the dovecote; the listing was made by decree dated 5 May 1993. The complex consists of a two-storey rectangular main building and two service wings set at right angles. The courtyard is closed off by a gateway with brick pillars and an 18th-century iron gate.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Mauvaisin houses a chalice. Un Dimanche À La Campagne is a cultural association dedicated to developing and promoting live performances in rural areas. The association stages its programme in the barn opposite the Château de Mauvaisin. These include the Balòchâteau, traditional and folk dance events.
