Martres-Tolosane: Holiday apartments and houses

Every year, the Salon des Arts et du Feu takes place in Martres-Tolosane on the weekend of All Saints’ Day. The event brings professional exhibitors and art enthusiasts together for meetings, exchanges, exhibitions and sales.

Culture
The Musée de la Faïence de Martres-Tolosane is located in the historic centre. It occupies a 380 m² building consisting of three renovated former houses.
The Grand Presbytère has been open since 23 May 2015. Its large exhibition rooms are intended for events throughout the year and promote arts and crafts as well as contemporary art.
The Villa Chiragan, an ancient site, is located in the immediate vicinity of Martres-Tolosane. It dates from Roman antiquity and is assigned to the period from the 1st to the 5th century AD. The Abbaye de Bonnefont en Comminges is a historic site in the vicinity of Martres-Tolosane. Further afield in the region lies the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Feuillant, also a historic site. The Cathédrale de la Nativité-de-Marie, a church, is likewise located in this wider regional area.
Trails
The Via Garona, the GR®861 long-distance hiking trail, passes through Martres-Tolosane and forms one of seven stages between Toulouse and Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges. Garonne à vélo is a 106 km cycling route on roads or shared paths that includes Martres-Tolosane.
Nature
Lac de Saint-Vidian is a lake covering around 1.5 hectares, with fish such as rainbow trout, barbel, gudgeon, chub and rudd. The Parcours de santé de Saint-Vidian, a fitness and health trail, is located at this lake in Martres-Tolosane.
The Grotte du Tuc d'Audoubert and the Grotte des Trois Frères, both caves, as well as the peaks Pic de l'Estelas and Roc Maléchart, are located further afield in the region around Martres-Tolosane.
