Culture and history
The Saint-Vincent de Gragnague Church was built on the site of the chapel of Gragnague Castle, which was built in the 17th century and destroyed in 1793. Its wall bell tower houses three bells.
An earlier Saint-Vincent chapel near the cemetery was burned down by Huguenots in 1570 during the Wars of Religion.
The painter Édouard Debat-Ponsan spent his holidays from 1880 to 1900 at the family estate of Préousse in Gragnague. During his stays, he painted intimate portraits, landscapes and scenes of rural life, including the grape harvest in Gragnague, the Girou Plain near Gragnague and the church of Gragnague.
The Château de Degrés overlooks the valley on the edge of the municipality of Gragnague and was rebuilt in 1767.
At the Chaussée de Gragnague, remains of the pillars that supported the lock gates, as well as parts of the access bridge to the mechanisms, are still visible. The former mill below the church of Gragnague on the Chemin de la Fontaine was once used to grind grain. The fountain on the Chemin de la Fontaine still provides water; the ruins of the stone surrounding wall of the former feudal castle are also visible there.
Paths and landscapes
Place Bellegarde is one of the two large squares around which the town centre of Gragnague is grouped. It is considered typical of the region and features several beautiful houses in the Toulouse style. This is where the Ronde des Berges begins, an 8.5-kilometre route for hiking or mountain biking that passes through the Girou Plain and runs along the riverbanks for half of its length. The route is considered easily accessible, has only slight differences in elevation and runs mainly along unpaved paths, some of which are gravelled.
Due to construction work on the A69, the Ronde des Berges is temporarily closed and cannot be walked along the Girou.
The Girou near Gragnague is described as a river popular with anglers.

The intermunicipal tourist office of Coteaux du Girou provides tourist information. It can be reached on foot from Gragnague railway station in less than 20 minutes.
