The Collégiale Saint-Étienne acquired its present form in 1824. The Musée d’Art sacré presents the development of sacred art from the Middle Ages to the second half of the 20th century in thematic and chronological form. The seven rocks of the Dames de Meuse lie at the exit of Saint-Mihiel in the direction of Verdun and are now used for walks, pilgrimages and climbing.

Local Life

The Marché couvert in Saint-Mihiel was built in 1902. Its metal structure is reminiscent of the Pavillon Baltard in Paris. Every Saturday morning, the covered market welcomes traders and market gardeners from the surrounding area for the weekly market.
