Lahayville lies on the shore of Lac de Madine and is part of the Natura 2000 area Lac de Madine et étangs de Pannes. The Rupt-de-Mad flows through the village; the village developed on its right bank. Nature

Le Douaire is a natural area of more than three hectares in the municipality of Lahayville. It has been managed organically since 2003 and is recognized as a remarkable natural area and an LPO protected area.
