Culture and History
The parish church of Saint-Maurice in Bras-sur-Meuse was built in 1927, a few metres from the site of the former church, which was destroyed in 1916.
The Cimetière de Bras sur Meuse is the final resting place of 4,537 French soldiers who fell in the First World War (1914–1918). A further 2,000 soldiers are commemorated in two ossuaries. The cemetery is a war cemetery.
