Culture and history
The Chapelle Saint Saturnin was first mentioned in 876. Its construction began in the Romanesque period; in the 14th century, it was remodelled and extended in the Gothic style. Behind the altar, Visigothic tombs from the 7th and 8th centuries can be seen.
The Église des Saintes-Hosties contains a Roman altar from the 1st century dedicated to Diana and Apollo, as well as a Visigothic rood screen from the 6th century. 28 stained-glass windows depict episodes from the history of the Saintes Hosties and Christian iconography.
The Croix des Outrages is a cross in the Catalan tradition and was erected in the 18th century. The Porte du Revelli was the main gate of Pézilla-la-Rivière and was integrated into the town’s fortifications as a defensive tower in the 14th century. The Cellera de Pézilla was established in the early 11th century, when houses replaced the grain stores built around the church and the village fortifications were constructed all around them. In 1882, the Porte du Revelli was converted into a civil bell tower; its wrought-iron campanile is listed as a historic monument.

Paths and nature
Pézilla-la-Rivière is one of the four municipalities included in the 109 km network of signposted trails in the Ecoparc Catalan. The trail network can be accessed on foot, for trail running and by mountain bike. It is also connected to the Es-Têt greenway.
Activities
The free Ecoparc Escape Game is available all year round and includes a route in Pézilla-la-Rivière on which players retrieve the enchanted chalice.
The Ecoparc Catalan offers free guided group tours focusing on renewable energy generation and the development and operation of a wind farm. In addition, guided excursions on off-road electric scooters are available, allowing visitors to explore the natural, historical and technical heritage.
