Millas: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The 507-metre-high rocky summit of Força Real towers above the Têt and Agly valleys. From there, the view extends across the Roussillon plain, the sea, the Albères, the Têt Valley and the Corbières.

The Força Real loop can be started in Millas. The botanical trail from Millas to Força Real takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and is classified as easy. The botanical trail at Força Real features 45 botanical panels presenting the surrounding vegetation.

Culture

Millas Municipal Park includes the Laurier exhibition space for cultural and artistic exhibitions and has a children's playground.

The parish church of Sainte Eulalie in Millas is first mentioned in the 12th century. It has a 120 m² monumental gallery built between 1440 and 1442. The collection of old art in Sainte Eulalie Church was assembled over half a millennium to decorate the village church.

History

The Barbacane Chicane in Millas preserves the layout of a barbican that defended the entrance to the first town fortifications. La Portalade is a Gothic fortified gate that protected a walled quarter used to store the crops of Millas's agricultural holdings.

Olive Oil

La Catalane continues an artisanal tradition of harvesting and producing Mediterranean olive oil. The tour of the olive mill includes an exhibition on the history of olive cultivation and ends with a free tasting of its own products. La Catalane olive mill can be reached from Millas railway station in less than a 30-minute walk and from the MILLAS – Foiral bus stop in less than a 20-minute walk.

Moulin Saint Pierre offers a free visit during which visitors can taste its olive oil.
