Finestret: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Landscape and Trails

The Chemin de la Garrigue features dry-stone field walls and connects Sahorle with Finestret. Another notable route is the Finestret–Pic Marbet hike, which follows the GR®36.

Sainte-Colombe Church

The parish church of Sainte-Colombe in Finestret has been documented since 1033. The original church was rebuilt in the 18th century. Its west portal is made of pink marble from Villefranche-de-Conflent.

Inside the parish church of Sainte-Colombe is a Monument de la Semaine sainte. There is also a painting depicting the Virgin Mary presenting the rosary to Saint Dominic and Saint Catherine of Siena.

Washhouse and Fountains

The washhouse in Finestret is located opposite the Fontaine d’Avall and near the Llentillà River. The rectangular building is surrounded by river-pebble walls and has a large concrete basin divided into eight sections.

The Fontaine d’Avall was built in 1820. The Fontaine du Trial has two granite basins separated by a block structure.

Visitor Information

Access to the Canal du moulin is currently closed to the public due to damage.
