Culture and History
Notre-Dame de Laval was built in the 15th century on the site of an earlier oratory, which had already been mentioned in 1483. The church is the former parish church of Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes at the hamlet of Laval, one kilometre south of the present-day village. The Tour du Viguier is partially protected as a historic monument; this protection covers the façade and roof under the decree of 16 December 1982.
The fort of Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes can be accessed through three gates and preserves a series of lanes leading to old buildings. Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes is also served by the Train Rouge tourist railway.
Landscape
Notre-Dame de Laval is located at the foot of Château Saint-Pierre and at the entrance to the Saint-Jaume gorges. The Chapelle Saint-Martin lies among vineyards in a protected area that was registered on 16 August 1944; it has been completely restored.
The Pont du col Saint-Louis in Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes is a spiral bridge. It was built in the 19th century to facilitate the connection between Perpignan and Quillan.

The Chemin du Facteur is a 15-kilometre, moderately difficult circular hike starting in Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes. The route follows the former rounds taken by rural postmen to remote hamlets and houses.
La Vallée de la Boulzane is an easy 17.5-kilometre mountain-bike route starting in Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes. It passes between Mediterranean and mountainous climates, alongside vineyards, garrigue and pine forests. The route from Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes to Col de Saint-Louis is a 6.3-kilometre, moderately difficult cycling climb starting at the village railway station.
Hiking trails leading from Col de Saint-Louis provide opportunities to explore nature. The Centre Equestre de Castel Fizel in Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes offers riding lessons from beginner to advanced level, as well as trail rides, courses, themed days and group activities.

La Batteuse is a craft brewery with a bar and tapas area, as well as a small shop selling local and artisanal products. Domaine de Majas invites visitors to taste Haut Fenouillèdes wines by the glass and discover their freshness and terroir.
