Culture and History
The Village d’Antan Museum depicts life in the village in the past and the trades once practised there. Life-size santons can be seen in a 12th-century house. The exhibits also include historical household furniture, everyday objects, porcelain, sculptures and copper items.
The former Gellone Abbey was founded in 804 by Guilhem, Duke of Aquitaine. It houses relics of Saint Guilhem as well as a fragment of Christ’s cross. As a pilgrimage site, the abbey lies on the routes to Santiago de Compostela.
