Mountain bike loop trail no. 17 Pierrerue Haut ends with a view of the village of Pierrerue, situated on a slope. The Le Priou hike passes through vineyards, around wild mountains, as well as through holm oak forests and chestnut groves. To take this hike, drive from Combejean via the D 177 E5 to the hamlet of Le Priou; parking is available at the entrance to the hamlet.

Culture and History

The Church of Saint-André was built in the 17th century. A lintel of the church bears the year 1602. In front of the church there is a grave decorated with a coat of arms dating from 1790.

The Sainte-Suzanne Chapel is located in the hills above Pierrerue and can be reached via hiking trails. The fountain in Pierrerue is a testament to the village's former way of life. In Combejean, the mulberry tree is classified as a remarkable tree of France.

The Auberge Vigneronne in Pierrerue is a country inn serving traditional cuisine. It mainly serves farm products as well as wines with the AOP Saint-Chinian designation. It also serves poultry raised in-house, cooked on a spit in front of guests.

Route 8 Pierrerue–Cazedarnes requires a certain level of technical ability but presents no major difficulties. On the descent to Pierrerue, it follows a path shared with loop trail no. 17.
