In Laubressel stands the Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption Church. It was built in the 16th century in the shape of a Latin cross, with a flat-roofed nave, a very large three-bay transept and a polygonal choir; its brick portal dates from 1849. The church also has a carved Renaissance portal dating from 1560 and preserves stained-glass windows from the 16th century. It is open to the public and houses a treasure of polychrome Champagne wooden sculptures protected as a Monument historique. By decree of 10 January 2006, it was listed as a Monument historique.
A sculpture of Saint George on horseback defeating the dragon is dated to 1470–1480. Today, the rural villagescape is characterised by inhabited houses made of dressed stone and half-timbering.

Geographical Location
Laubressel is one of the municipalities within the Parc naturel régional de la Forêt d’Orient. The village is served by the D48 and D186 roads and is located seven minutes from Exit 23 Thennelières on the A26 motorway between Calais and Troyes.
