Eaux-Puiseaux: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Culture and history

The Eaux-Puiseaux church was built between 1853 and 1864 on the colline des Trots between Eaux and Puiseaux. Its contemporary stained-glass windows were created in 2014–2015 by Flavie Vincent-Petit and explore the theme of the origin of the world, “La Création”.

The Eaux-Puiseaux church can be opened by the local municipality upon request. The Écomusée de la Valentaine presents old hand tools and motorized tools. It also reconstructs a former one-room dwelling and rural life around 1900 and earlier.

For planning your own trip, the focus is on finding a holiday apartment to rent in Eaux-Puiseaux.

Cycling and landscape

The Gravel and mountain bike circular route Circuit des Vergers is an easy 18 km loop with 361 metres of elevation gain and a stated duration of 2 hours 30 minutes.

The Circuit des Vergers runs through a grain-growing plain. It starts at the Chapelle St Joseph and leads into the Forêt d'Othe along its limestone slopes.

Agriculture and cider

La Ferme d'Hotte produces apple juice, cider and ratafia and offers tastings of these products. A short walk through apple and pear orchards is also offered there.

The Musée du cidre at La Ferme d’Hotte presents agricultural heritage through old presses, distillation apparatus and crushing machines, and traces three centuries of cider history.

Outside the seasonal opening hours, the Musée du Cidre du Pays d'Othe and the farm shop at Ferme d'Hotte are accessible by appointment.
