Culture and History
The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Lorette and the surrounding district were listed as historic monuments by decree of 2 March 1987. The façades are made of brick, some of which are glazed and arranged in decorative diamond patterns.
In the 17th and 18th centuries, the Chapelle Notre-Dame de Lorette became an important pilgrimage site for wet nurses and pregnant women.
The parish church of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine appears to date in its essential structure from the 13th century. Its square bell tower is crowned by a flamboyant balustrade. A statue of Saint Mary Magdalene in the Église Sainte-Marie-Madeleine dates from the mid-16th century.
The Château des Barres dates from 1786 and comprises a central building, a chapel, and a large tower on the west side. The chapel of the Château des Barres is open to visitors.

Hiking
The signposted hiking route “Promenade à Sainpuits dans les vallons de Forterre vers la voie romaine” is 18.3 kilometres long. It starts at the car park at Place de la Mairie and leads to Montagne des Alouettes.
