Culture
The church of Lixy dates back to the 12th century. It consists of a single nave ending in a choir to the west and was a priory of the Abbey of Saint-Jean de Sens. There are seven protected objects in Lixy: three of them belong to a church and four to the Église Sainte-Madeleine.
Near Lixy lies the Ravin de Bouval, which is dry for much of the year. After the snow melts or following thunderstorms, it becomes a stream.
