Culture
The Church of Saint Martin in Lainsecq was built at the end of the 15th or beginning of the 16th century; its construction was funded by the village's feudal lord, the Count of Beauvais. The church portal is listed in the register of historic monuments. The bell tower is shaped like a “Burgundy bottle” and is unique in the region.
Near Lainsecq is the Chantier Médiéval de Guédelon, a fortress. Druyes Castle, a historic site, is also located nearby. Further afield in the region around Lainsecq are the Château de Saint-Fargeau, a château, and the Artothèque de Clamecy, a museum.
Nature
The Montagne aux Alouettes combines small wooded areas, cultivated land, meadows, dry grasslands, orchards and vineyards. Near Lainsecq, the oldest spring is located beneath a small arch; another spring has emerged beneath three large arches since 1832.

Seven other fountains and washhouses near the hamlets of Lainsecq are incorporated into a hiking trail that starts in the town centre. The riding route “À cheval sur le Roichat et la Montagne des Alouettes” runs through Lainsecq and starts at the Champ de Foire car park. The “Petit tour sur la Montagne des Alouettes” tour also starts at the Champ de Foire car park in Lainsecq; it is a route for mountain bikes, hybrid bikes or electrically assisted bicycles and passes springs, washhouses, a section of a Roman road and viewpoints.
