Culture
The Château de Domecy is flanked by round towers; one of the towers has a machicolation. The Église Saint-Romain contains sculptures from the 13th to the 18th century as well as an exceptional black funerary hanging extending across the interior and exterior walls. The historic cemetery beside the church preserves gravestones, steles and intricately crafted crosses made of metal, stone or wood.
The Lavoir d’Usy was built in 1894 and houses an exhibition about life in earlier times. The former Saint-Martin de Cure Abbey is a private building complex and cannot be visited. The surviving 12th-century Romanesque church is 22 metres long. Two towers, one of which preserves a 15th-century defensive structure, are visible from the public road.
