Culture and History

The Abbey of Saint-Germain has sixteen centuries of history. It includes crypts that are among the oldest in France. The Clos de la Chaînette is the only vineyard still in operation within the city of Auxerre. It is one of the oldest documented wine estates in France and has been documented since the 7th century.
