Since 2021, the grounds of the Chapelle-Ermitage Sainte Anne have been home to an analemmatic sundial. Visitors can tell the time by their shadow when they stand on the central plate.

The project for the new Église Saint-Martin was entrusted to Viollet-le-Duc in 1862.
The Menhirs de Pierrefitte are located on the Route du Puits Avril in Aillant-sur-Tholon. The two Menhirs de Pierrefitte are megaliths that attest to Paleolithic and Neolithic settlement. At the initiative of Paul Bert, they were classified in the 1860s.
The Chapelle Sainte-Anne is a small, 20-metre-long sanctuary west of the town centre of Aillant-sur-Tholon, near La Motte. Local tradition preserves the memory of hermits who stayed at the Chapelle Sainte-Anne until the Second Empire.
The Château de Régennes, a château, is located in the vicinity of Aillant-sur-Tholon. The Château de Joigny, a historic site, is also located nearby.

Nature
The Bois des Ferriers features a network of ponds whose ecological importance has been recognised. The discovery trail through the Bois des Ferriers is 4 kilometres long, takes approximately one to two hours, and is almost entirely flat.
