Menou combines a diverse architectural history with a landscape of forests and extensive open spaces. The Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes-de-Tête-Ronde was built in 1872 in the Neo-Romanesque style following a vow and has been protected as a historic monument since 21 March 1994 through its listing.

Culture and history
The Château des Domaine du château de Menou is also part of the local architectural history. It was built between 1672 and 1684 according to plans by the architect Barthélémy Le Blanc. The Domaine du château de Menou is partly listed as a historic monument and partly classified.
The Église Saint-Siméon was built in the 13th century on the site of the former fiefdom of Nanvignes. The seigneurial chapel dedicated to Saint Hubert houses the tomb slabs and epitaphs of the Menou and Damas-Cruz families.

The Château de Menou is privately owned and closed to visitors. The Église Saint-Siméon is usually closed; information is available from the town hall. The Cabine à livres in Menou, on the other hand, is a freely accessible feature. Books can be left there and borrowed without registration, an appointment, or fees; the service is open to everyone.
Landscape and activities
The Chapelle de Tête Ronde offers views of the Nivernais landscape, and there is also an information board on site. The municipality of Menou names hiking, cycling, and mountain biking as outdoor activities suited to the local landscapes. Menou also has the circular trail “Circuit du château – Menou”.
A special activity is offered by Les Ânes de Menou: donkey hikes lead through the forest, through the countryside, or through a combination of both. The hikes can be taken either with or without a picnic.
