The parish church of Isenay is dedicated to Sainte-Marie-Madeleine. Originally, Sainte-Marie-Madeleine was a Romanesque church dating from the 12th century.

This site includes a lock chamber built of rubble stone, a lock keeper’s house on the right bank with rendered rubble-stone masonry, a slate roof and a side extension under a lean-to roof, as well as a washhouse at the upstream lock head on the right bank.
The “Boucle Saint-Honoré-les-Bains, Panneçot, Limanton” cycling route follows the D224 towards Isenay and then continues to the Canal du Nivernais.
