Culture
The historic wooden rafts from Clamecy could be up to 75 metres long and travelled down the Yonne and then the Seine. This history is also connected with the annual Tournoi de Joutes Nautiques held at the Quai de Bethléem, which continues the tradition of nautical competitions.
The Collégiale Saint-Martin de Clamecy has a nave built from the 13th century onwards in Burgundian Gothic style, as well as a tower built from 1497 to 1515 in Flamboyant Gothic style.
Since 1840, the Collégiale Saint-Martin de Clamecy has been included on the first list of classified historic monuments.
Notre-Dame de Bethléem was built in 1926 and 1927 in the Byzantine style as one of the first religious buildings made of reinforced concrete. Its nave has no central support.
In 2005, Notre-Dame de Bethléem was awarded the designation “Patrimoine du XXe siècle”.
Events
Held annually on the first weekend of July, the Fête de l’andouillette combines traditional andouillettes with concerts throughout the town centre.

The moderately difficult, 23.6-kilometre Circuit Clamecy Rix runs along the Beuvron and leads close to Château Vert.
