A 9.35-kilometre stretch of the Canal du Nivernais runs through the territory of Biches. The Route des Schleusenwärterwegs, which follows the Canal du Nivernais, is flat, free from other motorised traffic and serves as a cycle path. The circular cycling route from Châtillon-en-Bazois to the Fleury lock is 26 kilometres long.

The Fleury needle weir in Biches was built in 1837. It is one of the last twelve needle weirs on the Canal du Nivernais and one of the 124 existing needle weirs in France. As a leisure destination, it is appreciated by local residents and summer visitors.

The Fête de la Montouse combines a bric-a-brac and flea market with producers, music, entertainment, light refreshments and drinks. The festival is scheduled for the second Sunday in September.

The Fontaine de Chamont is a spring on the banks of the Aron that supplies a washhouse. The Buxaie de la fontaine Chamont is listed in the ZNIEFF inventory because of its boxwood grove. A route of around 800 metres with a duration of 45 minutes is indicated for the Buxaie de la fontaine Chamont.
The Étang du Buron offers opportunities to observe a diverse range of wildlife and plant life in every season. It is considered a fishing spot.
