History

The lock village of Baye has a house dating from 1785. From 1 July to 31 August, a tourist information office welcomes visitors at the Baye 1 lock site along the cycle route between Bazolles and La Collancelle.

Culture

The Church of Saint Symphorien in Bazolles was built in 1130 in the Romanesque style and has been protected as a historic monument since 1942.

The frescoes in the choir depict Christ the Saviour and two angels. They date from the 15th and 16th centuries.
