Culture and history
The present-day Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens church in Anthien dates partly from the 13th century. Its structure has a bell-tower porch, a three-bay nave with side aisles, and a transept.
The fortified Château de Villemolin dates from the 15th century; large sections were rebuilt in the 17th century and remodelled and extended in the 18th century. The site has been listed as a historic monument since 2002. During the summer season, the château is open to visitors, with guided tours providing access to the salons, library, vestibules, dining room, kitchens, chapel, and grounds.
The Lavoir d’Anthien dates from the mid-19th century and is located on the Way of St. James between Vézelay and Corbigny. Also associated with this route is the Croix du Chemin calvary cross in Anthien: it was erected in 1756 in the hamlet of Le Chemin, beside a former Roman road that is used there by the Way of St. James, and marks the first stage on the Via Lemovicensis from Vézelay. For residents of the commune and the surrounding area, the cross is a destination for walks; thousands of pilgrims and hikers pass by each year.

The Circuit du Mont Sabot begins and ends in Anthien. The 15-kilometre hiking route has a moderate difficulty level and leads from Anthien up to Mont Sabot. On the plateau and at Mont Sabot, it offers panoramic views.
