Saint-Trojan: apartments and holiday homes

Culture

The municipality of Saint-Trojan lists the Église Saint-Loup as part of its religious heritage. Its Romanesque entrance portal has a bell gable, and its sanctuary is enclosed by a cloister vault. The church bell was listed as an object on 20 May 1988.

An old chestnut tree near Hôpital is designated as a remarkable tree in Saint-Trojan. At the Fontaine de L'Hôpital, a hospital was established in the 14th century under the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, which later became the Order of Malta, to treat people with leprosy. In the Middle Ages, numerous springs at this fountain became known for the miraculous powers attributed to them.
