The Way of St. James leads to the Chapelle de Cadourne. For walks, the 3 km circular trail La Maréchale is available, offering panoramic views of the Gironde. On the grounds of Château Sociando-Mallet, a marked hiking trail of approximately 4 km leads through the vineyards to the winegrowers’ huts and to a fishing carrelet.

The Maison du Tourisme et du Vin offers free tastings all year round and sells local honey, jams, and regional confectionery. Château Muret offers a cellar tour with a guided wine tasting.
Port and Gironde
The Port de la Maréchale is a fishing port on the Gironde estuary. Historically, like the neighboring ports of Castillon and Mapon, it had a military and defensive character. Every year on July 14, the port festival “Fête du Port” takes place there. From the Port de la Maréchale, crossings between La Maréchale and Vitrezay are possible.
