Wine and events
Today’s Château d'Aiguilhe is a fortified agricultural estate dating from the 13th century. The estate covers 140 hectares, 90 hectares of which are devoted to viticulture. Château d'Aiguilhe is associated with the AOC Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux; wine tastings are available there by prior reservation.
The “Du Vin dans l’Jardin!” event was held in the surroundings of the ruins of the 12th-century Château d'Aiguilhe. The venue can be reached by car or bicycle. At this event, admission for adults included a glass of wine from the estate and an aperitif bag containing charcuterie and cheese.
