Reignac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Les Sentiers des Arts is a cultural and artistic autumn event that has been held for several years. In the 2024 edition, Nadège Dauvergne was represented on the wall of the Judo Club in Reignac from 2 to 9 September.

Reignac has a covered spring dating from the 14th century and an 18th-century windmill.

The Chapelle de Tutiac is dedicated to Notre Dame de Verdot and is located between vineyards and pine trees. A pilgrimage continues to take place every year at the Chapelle de Tutiac on 8 September, the Feast of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.

Nature

The clearing of Reignac forms a distinctive landscape within the wooded Double Saintongeaise. The Marais de Braud-et-Saint-Louis et de Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde Natura 2000 site covers 1% of the municipal area of Reignac.

There are two local circular trails in the canton of Reignac: a 13 km circular trail in the north and a 14 km circular trail in the south. The circular trails around Reignac run along forest tracks and through vineyards.

History

Construction of the modern Église Sainte-Maurice de Reignac, based on plans by Monsieur Hostein, began in 1869; it was consecrated in 1879. It has a relatively slender, modern bell tower and can only be visited free of charge by appointment.
