Pompignac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Pompignac features a landscape of wooded hills and broad plateaus with viewpoints overlooking the surrounding countryside. It also has vineyards covering more than 400 hectares and producing wines with the controlled designations of origin Bordeaux, Bordeaux Supérieur and Entre-deux-Mers.

Culture
The Church of Saint-Martin is originally Romanesque; its surviving portal appears to date from the 12th century. In Pompignac, it stands on a promontory and on a Gallo-Roman archaeological site, overlooking the Laurence valley. Along the Laurence, the remains of up to six mills include Fanfan.
Landscape
The Ceinture Verte is a signposted 6.5-kilometre trail that surrounds the centre of Pompignac and leads through countryside and woodland. The Boucle de Pompignac – « La découVerte » is an easy route accessible to everyone, linking woodland, meadows and the area's municipal heritage.
Paths and Routes
The Parcours VTT de la Laurence runs through Pompignac and offers variants of 46, 36 or 23 kilometres, depending on the route chosen. In Pompignac, it runs mostly along the Ceinture Verte; a footbridge near the waterfall makes it possible to avoid paved roads.
The orienteering area in the municipal forest of Cadouin covers more than five hectares and offers several levels of difficulty. The fitness trail in the Vallon de la Capéranie, also known as Vallon de Bel Horizon, features a pull-up bar, an obstacle jump, a wall ladder and parallel bars.
Places
The Petit Bois de Cadouin children's playground is located in a wooded area covering one hectare. Petit Bois de Cadouin Park includes a cycling track and is intended for children aged 2 to 10. Scène Buissonnière is a family-friendly play area in the centre of Pompignac.
In a municipal notice dated 16 February 2026, access to Bois de Cadouin was expressly prohibited following Storm Nils until the safety of the trees had been checked.
