Culture

The Maison du Domaine de Bonsol has been known since the 15th century and has a wing built in the 18th century. Wallpaper attributed to the Dufour manufactory was installed in this wing between 1815 and 1820. The wing, including its furnishings and wallpaper, was fully listed as a historic monument by decree of 10 September 2009.

The Church of Saint-Eutrope in Les Esseintes dates from the 12th century. It contains the wooden sculptural group “Saint Joseph charpentier et l’Enfant Jésus” from the first quarter of the 16th century. The Church of Saint-Eutrope also contains an 18th-century wooden statue depicting Saint Eutropius holding the hand of Saint Estelle.

History

Two private residences in Les Esseintes date from the 17th century and were recently added to the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments.
