The Château de Pitray was completely rebuilt around 1870 on the site of a château constructed in the 14th century and renovated in the 16th century. Château de Pitray, including its park, gardens and outbuildings, is fully protected as a historic monument; the newer wine cellar on parcel OA 55 is excluded.
