Since 2005, the Raid des maraîchers has been held in Eysines every spring. The routes take participants by bicycle, on foot or by horse-drawn carriage through the vegetable-growing area in the Jalle valley. Along the way, participants can meet the market gardeners on their farms and learn in the greenhouses how potatoes, lettuce and kiwis grow. At the end, participants can buy local seasonal produce at the farmers’ market.

Nature
Domaine du Pinsan is a 50-hectare, nature-oriented area in the city centre, dedicated to recreation and sport. The public Parc du Vigean covers 3.5 hectares of walking paths and play areas, as well as more than 300 trees and a bamboo grove. Parc Lescombes is a public park of just under 1.6 hectares in the centre of Eysines. A 5.4-hectare park features a continuous footpath, as well as oak, chestnut, beech and ash trees, and is home to diverse biodiversity.

CAP33 activities are open to residents and non-residents of Eysines, with no specific level of ability required. CAP33 also provides the opportunity to try more than 30 sports at Domaine du Pinsan and in various municipal sports facilities.
“Zéfaim garde la patate!” is a gastronomic Tèrra-Aventura route and geocaching activity in Eysines. Connaissance d'Eysines offers walks focusing on the history of the town. La cabane du maraîcher is open all year round by prior appointment.
Culture
The Centre d’art contemporain Château Lescombes is located in Château Lescombes, which was rebuilt around 1600. Several exhibitions are held there every year.
Culinary delights
Every June, the Confrérie jointly organises the Fête de la patate with the Société des fêtes de la Saint-Jean. Eysines’ early potatoes are harvested in June; the soil of Eysines gives them a unique, slightly sweet flavour. A variety of squash with an unusual skin is specific to the municipality of Eysines.
