The first church in Cadillac-en-Fronsadais dates back to the 12th century. The present-day Church of Saint George is a Neo-Romanesque building completed in 1890 and contains a 14th-century alabaster statue of the Madonna and Child.

Château Branda was built in the 14th century on the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa and served as a barracks for reserve troops in the Middle Ages. Cadillac-en-Fronsadais was the seat of a barony in the Middle Ages. In the 12th century, the town had a castle that resisted English attacks from the 13th century onwards.
A wooden depiction of Christ on the Cross has been registered as a protected object since 17 March 1986.

The Château Branda winery produces Bordeaux Rouge and Bordeaux Blanc. The local events calendar includes the Association Entre côtes et châteaux, which organises an event every May featuring hiking, running and mountain biking. It also organises weekly hikes throughout the year on different local routes.
