The Saint Marcel Church in Beychac has medieval origins. It is a Romanesque foundation; the transept, choir and sanctuary have been preserved. The nave and bell tower date from the late 12th century.
The painting “Saint Marcel” is located in the Saint-Marcel Church in the Beychac district and is listed as protected movable cultural heritage. It is an oil painting on canvas from the 17th century and depicts Pope Marcellus I, Saint Catherine of Alexandria and the martyrdom by arrows of Saint Sebastian.

Golf de Teynac is located on a former wine estate. The former pressing house of Golf de Teynac housed a clubhouse and a restaurant serving regional cuisine.
Landscape
Hilly landscapes at elevations of 15 to 80 metres stretch between the Laurence and the Gestas. Vineyards lie on the plateaus, while meadows are found in the valleys.
Getting Around
The “La Laurence” route has been open to the public for mountain biking and hiking since the beginning of summer 2012. It comprises three loops of 16, 32 and 45 kilometres that pass through Saint-Sulpice-et-Cameyrac, Beychac-et-Caillau, Sallebœuf, Pompignac, Montussan, Yvrac and Saint-Loubès. The start of the route in Beychac-et-Caillau is located at the La Trappe car park.
Bus route 302 between Bordeaux Buttinière and Libourne via the RN 89 serves the L’Intendant–Beychac stop at Exit 5.
