Bošnjaci: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Bošnjaci combines a protected historical landmark with rural traditions, a route through the region, and a landscape of waterways and Spačva forests. A prominent landmark is the parish church of St. Martin: it was built from 1792 to 1794, is protected as immovable cultural heritage, and preserves several relics. At the parish church, a St. Martin footprint also marks the town’s place on the cultural and historical St. Martin Route.

Culture

The Slavonska kuća visitor centre presents the rural traditions of Bošnjaci through embroidery, handicrafts, traditional crafts, gastronomy, traditional architecture, and depictions of historical rural life. Cycling is also integrated into the region: Bošnjaci is part of the Srijem cycling route, which in turn belongs to EuroVelo 6.

Nature

Vjerovi is described as a slow-flowing stream of the wetland type and a former oxbow of the Sava. The waterway offers a nature excursion near the Spačva forests. Nearby is the Virgrad archaeological site, identified as a medieval lowland water fortress and designated as protected cultural heritage of the Municipality of Bošnjaci.

Tolica, Osanska Greda, Veliko Brdo, and Sremska Greda are located in the vicinity of Bošnjaci. In the wider regional area are Zvezdan Grad, Šumanovci, Stara Džamija (Mosque) Brka, and Bunarić.
