Drutsk: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Culture and History
The Drutsk hillfort is an open-air archaeological monument where the main parts of an early medieval hillfort have remained visible: the fortified citadel, the outer town, the settlement area, the earthworks, and the moat.
Next to the hillfort stands a memorial marking Drutsk’s thousandth anniversary. A wooden tower and a boat-shaped reconstruction have also been installed there, connected with river navigation on the Drut. Archaeological expeditions and excavations are organised at the site from time to time.
Landscape
The hillfort is located beside the Drut River, and from the elevated castle hill there is a view towards the visible course of the river.
Those wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Drutsk can then continue their search for accommodation.
