The Attilio Fontana Memorial, Cantina Buon Apettito and natural attractions in the municipality offer different ways to shape your stay. Culture, History and Cuisine

The Attilio Fontana Memorial is located in Attilio Fontana's former residence and serves as a venue for cultural and artistic events as well as community activities. In this way, the site connects the building's former use with a cultural purpose for the community.

The visitor centre for Fritz Plaumann State Park is also located in the municipality of Concórdia. It is housed in a restored former residence and includes an exhibition room with illustrated information panels about the park's history. Forest and Trails in the Municipality

The Trilha da Canafístula passes through a well-preserved stretch of seasonal deciduous forest in the municipality. Along the way, you will pass a Canafístula tree that is over a hundred years old; you can also experience representative species of local flora and lush landscapes. The trail therefore connects a specific natural area with a distinctive tree.

The approximately two-kilometre loop trail in Fritz Plaumann State Park combines three attractions. It offers insights into different habitats and the region's settlement history, views of the UHE Itá reservoir, environmental interpretation and historical heritage. Nature, landscape and human history thus come together on the same circular route.

The trails also have different destinations: the moderately difficult Trilha Lajeado Cruzeiro follows the Lajeado Cruzeiro and crosses small bridges, viewing decks and a suspension bridge. The Trilha do Mirante leads to a lookout tower that is among the highest points in the park. From the Trilha do Mirante, you can see the protected area, its surroundings and the reservoir. The tower is 970 metres from Caminho do Lago; from the end of the Trilha das Marrequinhas, the distance is 850 metres. The approximately 150-metre-long Trilha das Marrequinhas leads to the banks of the Rio dos Queimados. This lets you take different destinations and trail lengths into account when planning, without treating the trails as interchangeable.

A Place for a Different Kind of Visit

Praça Dogello Goss is also located in the municipality. Portuguese stone paving, planted beds, an illuminated fountain and an acoustic shell define the square. It also features outdoor exercise equipment, a children's playground, stone game tables and benches overlooking the surrounding streets. The square offers a different experience from the forest and park trails; before visiting, it may be helpful to check the current condition of the facilities.
