Nature
The Parga-Ladra-Támoga area has observation points and walking routes that combine accessibility with the protection of sensitive wetlands. Culture
The Ponte Medieval de Rábade crosses the Río Miño at the municipal boundary between Rábade and Outeiro de Rei. Its origins are Roman, while it has a medieval design. Two historical layers therefore meet at the same bridge: its Roman origins and its medieval appearance.
The Pazo-Torre de Miraflores was built by Sebastián de Castro. The building has a rectangular floor plan and two storeys. The main façade also features a tower and a clock.
The Casa das Ínsuas houses an interpretation centre with four exhibition rooms and a total area of 200 square metres. It was established through an agreement between the Asociación Galega de Custodia do Territorio and the municipality of Rábade as a centre for nature studies and conservation managed by the AGCT. Before visiting, visitors can check the interpretation centre’s current opening hours. The agreement between the municipality and the AGCT also designates the building for nature studies and conservation.
Local Life
The Feria de Rábade takes place all day at the beginning and end of each month, on the 2nd and 22nd. The Feria offers regional products as well as typical market goods, including clothing and shoes. Geographical Context
The main transport links in the Parga-Ladra-Támoga area include the A-6 motorway and the N-VI road between Lugo and Guitiriz. Roads branch off to the north, and Vilalba can be reached via the N-634.
