Holiday apartment in Son Parc: Coast and Camí de Cavalls

The particularly easy, 11-kilometre stage of the Camí de Cavalls begins by crossing the Son Parc development and leads from Arenal d'en Castell to Cala Tirant. The route reaches Son Parc, where Son Saura beach is located. Along the same route, it crosses the wooded area of s’Albufera des Comte, which is of great natural value because of the diversity of its plant species.

Nature

Arenal de s'Olla de Son Saura is located near the Son Parc development. The beach has a shoreline of more than 200 metres with fine, golden sand. The landscape also includes the dune system of Arenal de Son Saura, whose dunes reach heights of more than 10 metres.

At the end of Arenal de s'Olla de Son Saura beach, a path leads to Cala Pudent. In the immediate vicinity of Son Parc, Cala Pudent can be reached via approximately 3 kilometres of walking along an unpaved path; the walk takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Cala Pudent offers opportunities for diving. Its seabed features contrasts of green and brown algae, white sand and blue water.

Things to do

The Son Parc–Cap de Cavalleria excursion route begins in Son Parc, passes Cala Pudent and then goes around Mola de Fornells. Cueva del Inglés is considered a cave with easy access and a colourful interior.

Golf

The Golf Són Parc Menorca course is located in the Son Parc development, a few kilometres from Arenal de Son Saura del Nord beach. The course has 18 holes surrounded by pine forests. It presents a challenge to experienced players and is also suitable for beginners.

Getting there

The Menorca transport authority operates route L41 (IB08) between Maó, Arenal d'en Castell, Son Parc, Fornells and es Mercadal. The timetable for route IB08, valid from 22 June to 13 September 2026, lists three stops in Son Parc: Camp de Golf, c/ F at H. Beach Club and c/ Major at H. Sol Parc.
