Coast and beach
At the end of Sant Tomàs beach, a small jetty extends into the water and offers views of the coast. Naturism is possible in one section of Sant Tomàs beach. Sun loungers and parasols, as well as water sports equipment, are available for hire at the beach. There are also showers, foot-washing stations, rubbish bins, a cleaning service and a telephone.

Paths and landscape
Binigaus beach is easily accessible from the Sant Tomàs development. It has an approximately 900-metre-long sandy beach, while vegetation extends right up to the shore. The sandy area and vegetation lie directly alongside each other, shaping this described section of coast.
Atalis beach forms a smaller coastal point: it is a small sandy beach, approximately 30 metres long, at the beginning of Son Bou beach. From Sant Tomàs beach, Atalis beach can be reached via an approximately 1,250-metre-long coastal path. Its approximate length makes the connection clearly identifiable as a defined walking route.
The Sant Tomàs–Son Bou route runs along a low, almost flat coast and reaches dune vegetation at Sant Tomàs, Talis and Son Bou. The route also crosses the bottom of the Barranc de Sa Vall and offers an insight into the lush vegetation typical of wetlands in the Prat de Son Bou. The coastline, dune vegetation and wetland landscape are therefore among the different natural settings encountered along this route.
In the wider area around Santo Tomas, in the Barranc de Binigaus in Es Migjorn Gran, lies the Cova des Coloms karst cave. It was formed by underground watercourses that eroded the limestone.
History
The monumental Talaiotic settlement of Sant Agustí is located in the municipality of Es Migjorn Gran. It comprises two talaiots, up to eight Talaiotic houses and seven structures with elements resembling Taula enclosures. The site complements the coastal and landscape impressions with an archaeological location featuring several clearly identified structural elements.
