Geographical setting
Marratxinet is a hamlet in the municipality of Marratxí, in Mallorca's Raiguer comarca, between sa Cabaneta and Santa Maria del Camí. The village is described as the original centre of Marratxí. Els Caülls railway station is a nearby transport hub, and Santa Maria del Camí is one of the nearby places.

Marratxinet covers approximately 2.31 km² and lies at an altitude of around 135 metres on the western foothills of the Pòrtol-Marratxinet ridge in the Son Cós-ses Clotes valley.
