Nazaryevo offers two very different reasons to take a closer look at the place: the historic Nazar'yevo (Troitskoye) estate and the Husky Land park on the riverbank. If you are looking for a vacation rental, you can first consider whether the history of the buildings and park or encounters with dogs will shape your stay more. These interests raise different questions when choosing a holiday destination: Are you mainly interested in historic architecture and landscaped grounds, or are animal encounters and a ride with a dog team your priority?

Estate, Church, and Park History

An early starting point for the estate’s history is the mid-18th century, when Prince S. A. Golitsyn founded Nazar'yevo (Troitskoye). The surviving buildings include a two-story main house dating from the late 1850s. Extensions from the 1960s were added to the building. These different dates distinguish several stages in its architectural development: the estate’s founding, the main house, and the later extensions do not belong to the same period.

The estate also includes the surviving 1824 Holy Trinity Church, built in the Empire style. It was erected in place of an earlier wooden church. The estate’s founding date, the church dating from 1824, and the later extensions to the main house provide different historical reference points. This makes it possible to trace the development through several buildings and periods rather than reducing it to a single year of construction.

The landscape is also part of the estate’s history. The grounds are surrounded by a formal linden park dating from the late 18th century. The park includes a pond created by damming the Bolshaya Vyazyomka River. The park, pond, and river connect a designed landscape with the local waterscape. In this way, the park adds another focus to the architectural history: the historic landscaping of the grounds.

Activities at the Husky Land Park

The Husky Land park is located in Nazaryevo on the riverbank and covers 17,000 m². Activities offered there include spending time with the animals and walking with a selected dog through the park grounds. You should confirm the availability of these activities before your visit.

Short rides with a dog team are also offered. You can choose a wheeled cart or a sled. Rides take place during opening hours and are weather-dependent. The walk and the dog-team ride therefore differ in format: in the first activity, you walk through the park grounds with a selected dog; in the second, you take a short ride with the team. When planning a ride, you should take both opening hours and the weather into account.

Planning Your Trip

These different interests provide a practical starting point when choosing a vacation rental in Nazaryevo. The historical periods, the church, and the linden park make estate history and the landscape the focus. At the Husky Land park, the emphasis is on animal encounters and activities with dogs; opening hours and weather affect the planning of dog-team rides. Consider which theme matters more to you during your stay and whether a weather-dependent activity will influence your decision.
