Dubinino combines local festival traditions with competitions at the House of Culture. An excursion also takes you through the settlement; cultural events and a specific route offer different options for planning your holiday.

Festivals and Competitions in Dubinino

In recent years, Maslenitsa, Family, Love and Fidelity Day, and Settlement Day have become established traditions in Dubinino. Traditional public events also include the opening of the Ice Town and Holy Trinity Day. Local events therefore range from community celebrations to an occasion expressly dedicated to life in the settlement.

The House of Culture traditionally hosts the open city singing competition «Mister Shlyager» for adults and the open city talent competition for children, «Zazhgi svoyu zvezdu». The events have different focuses: singing for adults and a talent competition for children complement the public festivities.

An Excursion through Dubinino

A three-hour excursion runs from Sharypovo through Rodniki and Dubinino to a viewpoint at Berezovskaya GRES-1. Dubinino is part of the route; the viewpoint is the tour’s destination. If you include the route in your holiday plans, you can set aside the three-hour duration as a dedicated block of time.

Krasnoyarsk Krai: Culture and Nature

One cultural highlight in the broader destination of Krasnoyarsk Krai is the Shushenskoye Historical and Ethnographic Museum-Reserve in the settlement of the same name. It recreates a Siberian village from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, during the Russian Empire. The grounds contain 194 monuments of rural architecture; the wooden buildings include peasant houses, a merchant’s shop, a smithy, and a prison-fort. In 2011, the architectural and ethnographic complex «Novaya Derevnya» opened there, along with a nature and landscape park. The museum-reserve’s programs introduce visitors to the traditions and customs of earlier times and immerse them in peasant life. They include sampling peasant dishes, learning the basics of old crafts, and experiencing games, customs, and festivals. Before your trip, check the current program for specific events.

Nature experiences are also a defining feature of Krasnoyarsk Krai. From the eastern entrance to Krasnoyarsk Stolby National Park, the Yermak, Kitayskaya Stenka, Maly Berkut, and Storozhevoy rocks, the Vorobushki rock group, and the Takmak rock massif are accessible in almost any weather. The eastern entrance is known for a picturesque stone amphitheater formed by a granite quarry; it also offers a view of Takmak, one of the park’s largest rock massifs. The main routes are marked and can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a full day. The round-trip route from the eastern entrance to Takmak rock is about four kilometers long and takes three hours. The «Krasnoyarsky Hiking» mobile app makes it easier to find your way.

Ergaki Nature Park lies in the south of Krasnoyarsk Krai. In summer, activities include hiking and horseback riding. In winter, the snow-covered slopes attract skiers and snowboarders; snowmobile tours and snowshoe hikes are also among the winter activities. This comparison shows how much a nature getaway can vary depending on the season you choose.

When choosing a holiday rental, it helps to set a clear priority: should Dubinino’s public events shape your stay, or is a specific cultural or natural attraction in Krasnoyarsk Krai the main focus?
