Moieciu: Holiday Apartments and Houses
The municipality of Moieciu lies between the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Massifs in the Rucăr–Bran Corridor. Moieciu de Jos is located 30 km from Brașov on DN 73.

Nature
The Piatra Craiului National Park includes parts of the municipality of Moieciu, including the villages of Măgura and Peștera. The village of Peștera lies at an altitude of around 1,000 metres and offers opportunities to relax in nature.
The Vama Strunga palaeontological fossil reserve covers 10 hectares and contains fauna from the Middle Jurassic. The Cascadele Moieciului consist of two watercourses that plunge 15–20 metres.
The Bucegi Natural Park has a ranger sector called Valea Simonului–Moieciu de Sus.
Culture
The Dormition of the Mother of God Church in Cheia dates back to 1818. Traces of human settlement from the Palaeolithic were discovered in Peștera Liliecilor cave in the village of Peștera.
The municipality of Moieciu preserves a traditional facility for processing sheep's wool. In Moieciu de Sus, visitors can see a traditional loom and a demonstration of how it is used.
Routes and Activities
The Zărnești–Măgura–Peștera–Moieciu de Jos cycling route offers views of the traditional architecture of a mountain village along the way. Cycling route 7 in Piatra Craiului National Park descends from Peștera to Moieciu along a steep section with tight hairpin bends.
In Măgura, possible leisure activities include hiking and cycling routes, learning about the way of life of the locals, and visiting nearby attractions. The Valea Bângăleasa–Șaua Strunga–Cabana Padina route takes 4–5 hours and is classified as moderate to difficult. The Valea Bângăleasa–Poiana Guțanu–Hotel Peștera route takes 6–7 hours and is classified as difficult.
Guided cultural and hiking tours are offered in Moieciu de Sus. Electric bicycles are also available, as well as guided or unguided routes.
Cuisine
A cheese tasting is offered in Moieciu de Sus. A traditional lunch made with organically produced products is also available.
