The Botoșani County Museum presents the region’s most significant periods of development, from prehistory to the present day, in 17 exhibition halls. The same museum also displays Cucuteni pottery; the exhibits have additionally been shown in major exhibitions at the Vatican, in Switzerland, and in Poland.

Culture
Coșula Monastery was an important cultural center where the first Romanian translation of Herodotus was produced in the 18th century. The original interior painting of the church at Coșula Monastery dates from 1538.
The Ethnography Museum is housed in Casa Manolache Iorga, a building dating from the 18th century. It displays exhibits on the region’s folk architecture, activities and crafts, ceramics, furniture, textiles and traditional costumes, Christmas and New Year customs, as well as decorated eggs.
The “Nicolae Iorga” Memorial House is the only surviving 19th-century building among the ten residences in which the Iorga family lived during his childhood and youth. It preserves numerous objects of cultural and historical value relating to the personality of the historian Nicolae Iorga. In the two rooms used by Zulnia Iorga and her children Nicolae and George, the Memorial House presents a contemporary reconstruction of the living conditions of that time.
The art section of the “Ștefan Luchian” Art Galleries comprises more than 2,300 works of art. Visitors can see works there by the artists Ștefan Luchian, Octav Băncilă, Constantin Piliuţă, Petre Achiţenie, A. M. Agripa, Ion Murariu, and Constantin Radinschi, all of whom originated from Botoșani.
The collection of the “Ștefan Luchian” Museum House comprises numerous pieces. They were donated by relatives of the painter Ștefan Luchian who were alive during his lifetime.
The Botoșani County Museum also presents a partial reconstruction of the oldest human dwelling in Southeastern Europe, which was discovered in Ripiceni.
In Dorohoi, the “George Enescu” Memorial Museum has a music salon where concerts and recitals are held regularly. The June edition of Zilele Eminescu takes place annually in Botoșani around June 15 and has reached more than 40 editions.
The Dorohoi Museum of Natural Sciences has 17 exhibition halls, including nine halls with natural history objects and eight halls with glass and porcelain exhibits. The natural history collections comprise approximately 276,000 specimens from all systematic groups. The museum also has a small area with exotic birds and fish.
Nature
Lacul Stânca-Costești is one of the six special bird protection areas in Botoșani County and bears the designation ROSPA0058.
Memorialul Ipotești offers a virtual tour for visitors from afar. Lacul cu nuferi is part of the Memorialul Ipotești holdings and is considered a natural monument. Memorialul Ipotești lists the Casa Memorială Mihai Eminescu as an attraction open to visitors.
Pădurea Tudora is listed as a protected natural area under the designation RONPA0248 in connection with the yew tree.

The ecumenical tourist route in Botoșani County leads from Botoșani via Stăuceni, Băluşeni, Coşula, Frumuşica, Suliţa, Durneşti, Ştiubieni, Păltiniş, Darabani, Hudeşti, Dorohoi, Hilişeu Horia, Şendriceni, Văculeşti, Brăieşti, Mihai Eminescu, Curteşti, and Vorona to Cristeşti.
The ecumenical tourist route through Botoșani County includes Sf. Nicolae Monastery in Coșula as well as Sihăstria Voronei.
The Botoșani–Vorona route is described as 18 km long, with a duration of six hours, an easy difficulty level, and Botoșani as its starting point.
The Vorona route includes a marked footpath through the forest from Sihăstria Voronei to the Altarul din peșteră of the pious Onufrie from the 17th century, where traces of an old chapel can also be found.
Cuisine
In Vorona, there is a network of agrotourism farms where guests can learn about traditional Moldavian cuisine and obtain natural culinary products.
