Paved paths and squares provide access to the former manor grounds. An observation tower is housed in a building once used for drying hops. Its terrace is ten metres high. The origins of the town of Łęczna date back to 1467. When it was granted town rights, it also received the right to hold fairs. The history of these fairs can also be traced through individual historic buildings: former inns at ul. 3 Maja 26 and 37 and at pl. Kanałowy 18 and 26 are remnants of 19th-century architecture from the heyday of Łęczna’s fairs. These addresses give the town’s history concrete points of reference. The town hall stands on Plac Kościuszki, in the northeastern part of Rynek I. It was originally built as a guardhouse at the end of the 19th century. The Synagoga Duża tells another story: after being largely destroyed during and after the war, it was rebuilt between 1953 and 1964. The town hall, former inns and synagogue each provide a different historical perspective, adding the town’s history to the story of Podzamcze.

The international Festiwal Kapel Ulicznych i Podwórkowych takes place in Łęczna every year on the last weekend of July.
