Culture and History
Olchowiec is home to a manor complex dating from the second half of the 19th century, which was entered in the register of monuments in 1983 under registration number A/259.
The manor complex is associated with the Bielskis, who settled in the village at the beginning of the 18th century. The original wooden manor house was replaced by a brick building around the middle of the 19th century.
Landscape
Olchowiec lies on the Żółkiewka, a tributary of the Wieprz. This makes the location’s connection to water clearly recognizable for travellers interested in river landscapes.
Remains of a 19th-century landscape park have also been preserved at the manor complex in Olchowiec; the park covers 3.9 hectares.
